What does a fraudster do when they are stopped on the web?

THEY TRY THE NEXT AVENUE OF VULNERABILITY, THE CALL CENTER.

ID Dataweb’s new Credential Reputation Service (CRS) intercepts fraud across channels, linking attempts at Account Takeovers across all channels and applications, a true mesh architecture.

Using our fraud detection services at both the IVR and web channels, whenever fraud is identified or suspected the credential is flagged in the CRS. Thus when an account is under attack on the web, it is immediately identified in the call center and vice versa, resulting in a stepped-up authentication or identity verification workflow to confirm the identity of the user.

Track fraud across channels with minimal friction for trusted users.

Verify Identities and ANI's at the Call Center

When a user calls into the call center, ID Dataweb determines a risk level on the originating phone number (is it spoofed, is it a known number, is there a proxy, are there other risk signals), then matches the phone number with an account and checks the CRS to see if that account has been under attack on other channels. If everything looks good, they are connected to the call center rep.

If any risk signals are detected, ID Dataweb immediately kicks off an identity-proofing process using one of our workflows to determine if the user is indeed who they say they are. All of this without the call center rep’s involvement. If the user passes, they are connected; if not, they are denied access.
