Technical Product Marketing Manager

Full-Time

North America, Remote

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a Technical Product Marketing Manager to serve as the connective tissue between our product’s technical depth and our go-to-market execution. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales, translating complex identity-based threat detection and risk mitigation capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with security buyers, identity fraud practitioners, and technical evaluators. This is a new position reporting to the Director of Product Marketing and working alongside a Core Product Marketing Manager. The role will own the technical dimension of our messaging, sales enablement, and competitive strategy. The ideal candidate is an exceptional technical translator, storyteller, and competitive strategist, with a deep understanding of the identity security and fraud landscape and a passion for enabling go-to-market success.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Positioning & Messaging
  • Develop and refine messaging and positioning for our solutions and capabilities that resonate with security and identity fraud buyers, as well as technical evaluators.

  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, customer-centric value propositions that address the real-world security challenges faced by our target personas.

  • Partner with the Core Product Marketing Manager to ensure messaging and positioning can be effectively extended to non-technical audiences when appropriate.

  • Ensure technical accuracy and consistency across sales enablement assets, marketing content, and technical documentation, reflecting our latest capabilities, real-world workflows, constraints, and measurable outcomes.

Technical Sales Enablement
  • Equip sellers with technically accurate, competitively differentiated, and strategically aligned training, talk tracks, and enablement resources, ensuring they can confidently articulate ID Dataweb’s value proposition and supporting capabilities throughout the entire sales and customer lifecycle.

  • Create and maintain a comprehensive library of sales-ready technical collateral—including demos, product videos, presentations, one-pagers, evaluation and POC guides, reference architectures, and related assets—ensuring materials remain current, easily discoverable, and continuously optimized based on field feedback.

  • Own and continuously enhance the RFP and security review response library, ensuring consistency, technical accuracy, and clear articulation of our value proposition and differentiation, including in highly technical responses.

  • Partner with the Core Product Marketing Manager to develop, maintain, and deliver strategic competitive intelligence and enablement, ensuring internal teams are prepared to effectively position and differentiate ID Dataweb in the market.

Thought Leadership & Evangelism
  • Produce and support the creation of market-facing technical content that speaks directly to practitioners in their own language, including white papers, technical blogs, webinars, videos, demos, PR initiatives, and rapid response programs.

  • Support analyst relations by leading technical assessments, completing detailed surveys, and contributing to major industry evaluations—including Gartner Magic Quadrants and Forrester Research Waves—with accurate, differentiated technical narratives and compelling proof points.

  • Represent ID Dataweb as a technical marketing authority at industry events, webinars, customer engagements, and technical forums, strengthening credibility with practitioners, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Product Partnership
  • Serve as the technical PMM lead for product launches, driving go-to-market excellence by contributing to GTM packages and delivering release notes, technical assets, enablement materials, and demo environments required for successful adoption.

  • Ensure launch strategies fully account for technical realities—such as integration impacts, dependencies, constraints, and known limitations—so go-to-market teams are aligned and prepared.

  • Partner closely with Product Managers throughout the product lifecycle, bringing field insights from Gong and market research into roadmap discussions and contributing to market requirements documents for upcoming development initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years in product marketing or technical marketing for B2B cybersecurity or identity-focused technologies.

  • Deep understanding of the identity security and identity fraud landscape, including modern threats to identity and account security, with the ability to clearly explain complex topics such as ITDR, authentication and identity verification innovations, federated identity protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), and identity-centric technology stacks, integrations, and data flows (IGA, PAM, EHR).

  • Exceptional structured thinking and writing skills, with the ability to develop clear narratives, high-quality documentation, and compelling presentations for both technical and non-technical internal and external stakeholders.

  • Working knowledge of technical content creation and enablement tools, including Loom, Scribe, Articulate, and Navattic, as well as basic video editing capabilities.

  • Proven track record of creating sales enablement that drives measurable adoption and impact, not just asset production.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field; MBA or relevant technical or product marketing certifications (e.g., CISSP from ISC2 or Security+ from CompTIA) preferred.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
