Sales Associate – Commercial Development Team

As a Sales Associate on our Commercial Development team, you will be responsible for seeking out new customers and communicating how ID DataWeb can help meet their digital identity security needs. You will have experience prospecting, running discovery calls/demos, negotiating, and a track record of closing new business. You should also understand use cases and how to sell across multiple departments, industries and agencies. The Sales Associate will report directly to our VP of Sales and Commercial Development, should be local to the Washington, D.C. area, and shouldn’t require sponsorship for work in the U.S.

What you’ll do

  • Call and email executives to facilitate deal closure, with a focus on mid level organizations and agencies in the Washington, D.C. area
  • Manage the full sales-cycle, including contract generation and other deliverables for closing
  • Meet monthly sales goals
  • Understand an account’s needs and effectively communicate how ID DataWeb will meet those needs
  • Use Pipedrive for lead management and sales forecasting
  • Prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources
  • Ensure 100% satisfaction with all customers

What you need

  • 4-year degree required
  • 2+ years successful software sales experience, SaaS preferred
  • Obvious passion and people skills
  • Consistent over-achievement in past experiences
  • Technically adept; experienced with web technologies (enterprise security / cloud is a huge plus)
  • Passion for cloud technologies
